Senior Backend Engineer, Business Security - Platform
Summary
Build and optimize backend services for Shopee’s anti-fraud platform, integrating real-time data pipelines and AI models to power risk decisions.
Job Description:
- Design and implement high-performance, highly stable platform services
- Support data calculation needs for intelligent risk decision. Delivering high-quality and efficient data computing products
- Participate in offline and real-time data development to support risk analysis, model training, and other risk-related data needs
- Research, evaluate, and apply industry best practices and AI in anti-fraud system engineering
- Collaborate closely with product, algorithm/strategy, and platform teams to ensure smooth integration and evolution of the anti-fraud system.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or a related field
- At least 3 Years of full time experience in designing and optimizing high-concurrency, high-availability backend services
- At least 1 year of full time experience in big data platforms such as Flink, Spark
- Hands-on experience in applying or fine-tuning LLM/AI
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to abstract complex business logic into scalable system designs;
- Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset
