Senior Backend Engineer — Cloud & Kubernetes for Energy

SPAN, headquartered in San Francisco, seeks a Senior Backend Software Engineer to build the cloud glue for SPAN Panel, SPAN Drive, and future products. You will design and implement services to store, process, and expose energy data to homeowners, installers, fleets, and utilities.

You’ll bridge the Cloud and Platform teams, shaping Kubernetes strategy and observability while ensuring secure, scalable APIs across REST, gRPC, and GraphQL, collaborating with firmware, mobile, and web engineers.
