Build the product. Shape the architecture. Have a say in what comes next.

Join an ambitious technology business building a consumer platform in the automotive market. With established industry backing and an evolving tech stack, this is an opportunity to take ownership of backend services and influence how the product develops.

You'll design and build scalable Python services, contribute to architectural decisions and work closely with Product and Design to deliver customer-facing features. You'll also mentor other engineers and have room to introduce tools and approaches that improve how the team builds software.

The stack:

Python, Django, FastAPI, AWS, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Kubernetes and Redis.

We're keen to speak with engineers who bring:

  • Strong commercial Python backend experience
  • Experience building and maintaining software products
  • A solid understanding of databases, APIs and distributed systems
  • Confidence contributing to technical design and supporting other developers

Around six years or more of professional development experience would be ideal. You don't need experience with every tool in the stack.

The package:

£70-80k, performance bonus, private medical insurance, learning and development opportunities, and 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
