Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable backend services using Python.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs that integrate with front-end applications and third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Manage and optimize database schemas and queries (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Implement robust security measures and ensure data protection.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
