Virtual Assistant Product leverages cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in Speech Processing and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to build comprehensive Virtual Assistant solutions for individual and enterprise users. As a robust and comprehensive virtual assistant tailor-made for Vietnamese users, VIVI is actively integrated and operational across VinFast’s entire fleet of electric vehicles (EVs). Our center brings together highly experienced tech leaders and talented young engineers, creating a dynamic and high-energy environment dedicated to accelerating the development of VIVI and its broader product ecosystem.

• Collaborative Leadership: Partner with the Technical Lead to propose architectural solutions and drive execution within a development squad of 5–10 software engineers.

• Cross-Functional Integration: Coordinate closely with Mobile, Quality Control (QC), and other product teams to implement advanced technologies, ensuring the delivery of a modern, intelligent, and seamless Virtual Assistant platform.

• Core Technology Mastery: Collaborate with speech and language processing experts to master cutting-edge technologies and successfully deploy Virtual Assistant applications across automotive and mobile platforms, delivering a superior and distinctive user experience.

Position Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Develop and optimize high-performance backend services utilizing Python.

• API Design & Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain robust APIs and applications tailored to meet product and business requirements.

• Technical Excellence: Apply advanced data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns to build highly efficient, clean, and scalable solutions.

• Quality Assurance: Code and execute comprehensive unit tests to ensure high code quality, stability, and maintainability.

• AI/ML Production Deployment: Partner closely with the AI/ML Engineering teams to package, deploy, and optimize the production performance of Speech-to-Text (STT), Text-to-Speech (TTS), and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) models.

• Next-Gen AI Research: Research and integrate advanced AI techniques, specifically focusing on interacting with Large Language Models (LLMs) and managing Vector Databases.

• Data Engineering: Build and optimize efficient Data Pipelines to support continuous model training and learning (Continuous Learning / CT workflows).

• Technology Innovation: Evaluate, propose, and adopt emerging technologies, with a strong focus on AI, MLOps, and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

· Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (Upper Second-Class Honors / Good grade or above) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

· Backend Expertise: 5+ years of proven hands-on programming experience with Python (using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django) or Go.

· Computer Science Fundamentals: Mastery of core data structures, algorithms, and a strong track record of applying software design patterns in real-world production environments.

· Database Management: Solid experience in working with relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL) as well as caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached).

· AI Inference & Production: Strong understanding of deploying AI models into production, including practical knowledge of inference frameworks and serving pipelines.

· High-Performance Communication: Proficient in working with high-performance communication protocols and real-time data streaming/processing (gRPC, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events - SSE).

· Testing Standards: Robust experience in drafting automated tests using Python testing frameworks (pytest, unittest, or equivalent).

· DevOps Foundation: Proficient with Git workflows and modern CI/CD pipelines within professional software development lifecycles.

· Cloud Infrastructure: Fundamental knowledge or practical experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is considered a strong advantage.

· Core Competencies & Soft Skills:

- Communication & Mindset: Clear, structured, and articulate communication style. Strong logical thinking capabilities with the ability to thrive under high-intensity, fast-paced environments.

- Ownership: Highly proactive with a strong sense of ownership and a solution-oriented mindset targeted at solving cross-functional project challenges.

· Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

- Containerization: Practical experience with container technologies and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Agile Frameworks: Prior experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Modern AI Tooling: Familiarity with AI interaction frameworks/orchestrators (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and Vector Databases (Milvus, Qdrant, pgvector).

- Community Engagement: Active contributions to open-source software or innovative personal projects related to Python, Go, or AI.

- Language Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in English (capable of reading technical documentation and communicating in global technical settings).
