Senior Backend Engineer - Trading/Blockchain Infra

We are seeking a highly skilled and system-minded Staff/Senior Backend Engineer to join our high-frequency core engineering team. In this role, you will be architecting resilient, low-latency backends for central trading platform infrastructure and chain-level financial channels. Job Responsibilities
- Trading Core & Fund Pathways: Design, optimize, and maintain high-throughput engine components including order routing, fund movement pipelines, risk control rulesets, clearing, and settlement.
- On-Chain Financial Channels: Engineer reliable infrastructure for deposit scanning, automated withdrawal/payout processing, wallet integrations (Hot/Cold/MPC), and automated reconcillation.
- Resilience & Disaster Recovery: Build critical-path failure recovery mechanisms, ensuring strict transactional consistency, rapid state recovery, and continuous fault isolation.
- Architecture & Tech Selection: Own end-to-end technical solution designs, drive technical decision-making, evaluate trade-offs, and establish system benchmarks.
Requirements
- Programming: Expert proficiency in Go (Golang), C++, or Rust. Candidates with deep experience in Java, Rust, or C++ willing to transition to Go are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Domain Experience: Proven track record in building CEX matching engines, HFT platforms, or electronic brokerage systems.
- Infrastructure: Deep experience with Redis (in-memory data), Kafka (messaging), and low-latency gRPC communication.
- Database: Proficiency in PostgreSQL and time-series data management.
- DevOps: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP cloud networking.
- Systems Design: Strong understanding of multi-threaded programming, memory management, and lock-free data structures.
- Proficiency in Chinese language is highly preferred (due to internal stakeholders)
- Open to consider relocation OR willing to travel on extended business trips would be an added advantage
