Senior Backend Engineer
- Development of a highly scalable system to orchestrate information requests from customers
- Development of infrastructure providing insights into operational cost and risk for Wise products
- Enabling automation of servicing processes through a rich API in a distributed environment
- Collaboration with other teams to deliver a platform with appropriate complexity and adaptability
- Building stable, scalable backend systems with great APIs
- Documentation at the appropriate abstraction level to scale adoption of developments
- Strong technical skills in backend development with Java or other JVM-based languages
- Experience with Spring framework, databases, and distributed systems
- Ability to understand and decompose complex features into deliverables
