Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance backend microservices using languages like Java, Python, or Go. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Rabbit MQ). Implement robust data persistence solutions using SQL and No SQL databases. Ensure the reliability, fault tolerance, and scalability of microservices in production environments. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices. Collaborate effectively with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in a remote setting. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues. Contribute to architectural discussions and the evolution of the microservices ecosystem. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. Stay current with emerging backend technologies and microservices patterns. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5 years of professional backend software development experience. Proven experience designing, building, and deploying microservices. Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js). Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL) and/or No SQL databases (e.g., Mongo DB, Cassandra). Familiarity with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, Rabbit MQ). Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services. Knowledge of API design principles (RESTful, g RPC). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork. Experience working remotely and managing time effectively is crucial.
