Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Benefits Program Manager to join NetApp’s Global Total Rewards team and lead EMEA benefits strategy and execution. Reporting to the Director, Global Benefits, this role manages a team of benefits SMEs and partners closely with regional leaders across EMEA, the U.S., and APAC to deliver competitive, compliant, and employee-forward programs in a fast-paced, global environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead EMEA benefits strategy, governance, and execution across 24 countries, ensuring programs are competitive, compliant, employee-forward, and aligned to NetApp’s Total Rewards strategy.
- Manage and develop a team of benefits SMEs, partnering with regional benefits leads, HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, Procurement, and senior business leaders to deliver consistent, effective solutions.
- Own annual EMEA benefits renewals, financial planning, forecasting, vendor governance, broker relationships, procurement activities, contracting, and multi-country implementation.
- Use market insights, program metrics, benchmarking, employee needs, and cost analysis to recommend benefit, pension, leave, and wellbeing enhancements to senior leadership.
- Drive operational excellence through process improvement, automation, data governance, vendor administration enhancements, and scalable service delivery models.
- Lead cross-functional projects, including new entity or country launches, workforce expansions, M&A/divestiture initiatives, and regional communications or benefits education.
- Support other global benefits programs and initiatives as needed.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of benefits strategy, administration, and communications experience across multiple European countries, technology industry experience preferred.
- 3+ years of people management experience, preferably in a global or matrixed environment.
- Strong EMEA benefits expertise, including plan design, provider management, renewals, benchmarking, compliance, and market practice.
- Proven ability to scale benefits programs and processes in support of business growth, operational efficiency, and employee experience.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver complex benefits programs and regional initiatives.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to use data, benchmarking, and cost analysis to inform recommendations, advanced Excel skills required.
- Demonstrated project management capability, including the ability to manage ambiguous, multi-country projects through completion, on time and on budget.
- Hands-on experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or new entity/country launches preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
