Senior BI Architect
The Senior BI Architect role is pivotal for leading the design and implementation of advanced BI solutions on a modern analytics platform. This position demands extensive experience in cloud-based data architectures, particularly in Microsoft Azure, and a deep understanding of data governance and business intelligence processes.
Main Responsibilities
The Senior BI Architect is responsible for designing and driving the architecture of the Microsoft Fabric platform, delivering scalable and efficient analytics solutions. Responsibilities include:
Leading end-to-end BI architecture covering ingestion, transformation, storage, and presentation layers.
Designing semantic models and lakehouse/warehouse structures.
Establishing data engineering and warehousing capabilities.
Overseeing lifecycle activities such as development and optimization of the platform.
Aligning BI Architecture with enterprise strategy and governance.
Setting BI standards, best practices, and resolving architecture issues.
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and create suitable solutions.
Creating data models and integration designs.
Ensuring solutions are scalable and efficient, with proper implementation and maintenance.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Industry certifications in relevant data fields.
Extensive project experience in Core BI and Analytics platform architecture.
Proven experience implementing Core BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Analytics tools.
Delivery of comprehensive Data and BI Architecture deliverables.
Experience implementing Data Governance and controls over outputs.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with additional data tools and technologies within the Azure ecosystem.
Strong communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Experience in developing training and documentation for users.
