Senior Data Analyst | Microsoft Fabric & Power BI

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong experience in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to design, develop and support enterprise Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions. This role goes beyond dashboard development and requires hands-on experience across the full analytics lifecycle, including data ingestion, semantic modelling, governance, security and enterprise platform administration.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in large-scale Power BI environments, collaborating directly with business users, Data Engineering and Platform teams to deliver scalable, secure and high-performance analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements in close collaboration with business teams

• Translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI

• Manage Power BI Workspaces, Apps, Semantic Models and deployment lifecycle

• Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS) supporting multiple business areas and geographies

• Design, develop and optimize enterprise semantic data models

• Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs using DAX

• Build and maintain centralized datasets for enterprise reporting

• Ingest and transform data using Microsoft Fabric capabilities

• Develop solutions using Lakehouse, Mirroring, Warehouse and Data Pipelines where appropriate

• Ensure governance, security, performance and scalability across the Power BI platform

• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and Data Platform teams

Key Requirements

• Strong Problem solving capabilities

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric

• Strong experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service

• Experience managing enterprise Power BI environments

• Experience managing Workspaces, Apps, Semantic Models and Deployment Pipelines

• Experience with testing and performance improvements of solutions for Power BI

• Knowledge of best practices regarding Power BI modeling

• Strong experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS)

• Strong experience with data modelling (Star Schema, Fact & Dimension modelling)

• Experience with Lakehouse, Mirroring, Warehouse and Data Pipelines

• Experience integrating multiple data sources including SQL Server, APIs, Cloud Data Platforms and flat files

• Strong SQL knowledge

• Proven experience optimizing semantic models, datasets and reports

• Experience implementing Power BI governance and enterprise best practices
