The role entails strategic oversight of BIM implementation, model coordination, information management, and digital engineering processes to guarantee efficient project delivery and adherence to client requirements and industry standards.
Project duration: 5 months
- Lead BIM implementation and digital delivery across all project lifecycle stages.
- Establish and maintain BIM standards, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Oversee multidisciplinary model coordination and integration across engineering disciplines.
- Manage BIM execution plans, information management processes, and Common Data Environment (CDE) requirements.
- Review and approve BIM deliverables from consultants and contractors.
- Support design reviews, constructability assessments, clash detection, and project coordination activities.
- Drive integration between BIM, GIS, Digital Twin, and asset information management systems.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on BIM best practices and digital engineering initiatives.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for successful digital project delivery.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in BIM, Digital Engineering, or Information Management on major infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience leading BIM implementation on multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, information management, and digital delivery processes.
- Experience managing consultant and contractor BIM deliverables and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- BIM Professional Certification is preferred.
- Autodesk Certified Professional or equivalent certification is an asset.
- Experience on giga-projects or large-scale infrastructure programs is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Aconex, ProjectWise, SharePoint, and other CDE platforms is desirable.
