Senior Business Analyst

We're looking for two experienced Senior Business Analysts to join a major lending transformation programme spanning Australia and New Zealand.

This is a role for strong, business focused BAs who understand lending, can get into the detail of complex processes, and are comfortable working with stakeholders across both business and technology. The focus will be on understanding current state lending operations, identifying gaps between Australia and New Zealand, and helping shape a future state lending platform.

You'll be involved in key initiatives including new software implementations, supporting the business as it moves towards a more streamlined and integrated lending environment.

What you'll be doing

• Documenting current state processes across lending and finance systems
• Mapping loan origination and loan management workflows
• Comparing Australian and New Zealand processes and identifying opportunities for alignment
• Facilitating workshops and gathering requirements from key stakeholders
• Producing business requirements, process maps and user stories
• Performing gap analysis and supporting future state solution design
• Supporting system implementation, integration and potential data migration activities
• Working closely with business and technology teams to drive delivery outcomes

What you'll bring

Essential:

• Proven Senior Business Analyst experience
• Strong experience with loan origination and loan management systems
• Financial services or lending industry experience
• Solid understanding of the end to end lending lifecycle
• Strong process mapping, requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have:

• Automotive finance experience
• Experience delivering lending system implementations or transformation programmes
• Data migration experience
• Exposure to finance applications and system integrations

This role will suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, understands how lending businesses operate, and can bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions. Loan origination and loan management system experience is the key requirement, with finance and automotive lending exposure viewed favourably.
