Senior Business Analyst
Ciklum is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team full-time in Bulgaria.

About the role:
As a Senior Business Analyst, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Ciklum’s client is a global payments technology company providing payment processing, acquiring, and financial technology solutions to businesses worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Business Analysis for payment gateway consolidation and modernization initiatives, translating business objectives into clear functional requirements, user stories, and process flows
- Strong understanding of payment gateway ecosystems, including transaction processing, authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, and payment lifecycle management
- Banking integration expertise, with experience working on integrations between payment platforms, banks, processors, acquirers, issuers, and third-party financial systems
- Analyze legacy payment platforms and define requirements for migration, consolidation, API modernization, platform rationalization, and integration with target- state solutions
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, Operations, and business stakeholders to define requirements, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and delivery priorities
- Drive data and process mapping across legacy and modern payment systems, including transaction flows, file interfaces, APIs, settlement data, reconciliation, and reporting requirements
- Manage stakeholder alignment and delivery outcomes, proactively identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies while ensuring the modernization solution meets business, regulatory, operational, and customer requirements
Requirements:
- We need a payments / gateway BA, with ACH skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role
- Proficiency in requirements documentation and process mapping
- Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Excel (Power BI/Tableau a plus)
- Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery preferred
- Business analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or PMI-PBA) a plus
