6-month day-rate contract for a Senior/Lead Business Analyst at an Australian neo-bank in Melbourne, supporting its Scams Prevention Framework program (financial crime/KYC/AML). Hybrid working, ASAP start, working closely with business SMEs using tools like Jira and Confluence.
My client, a leading neo-bank in Australia, is currently seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Business Analyst to join them for an initial 6 month daily rate contract, with the view for long term extension. Working closely with the Business SMEs, the role will be supporting a range of initiatives relating to their Scams Prevention Framework program. They are ideally seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience in retail banking within smaller banking environments i.e. outside of the big 4, preferably with FinCrime/KYC/AML expertise.

The requirements:
· Minimum 5 years experience in Business Analysis particularly within Banking/Financial Services
· Financial Crime/KYC/AML/Scams Prevention experience highly regarded
· Domain experience in Banking, particularly SMALLER banking environments i.e experience outside of the Big 4
· Must have strong experience as the sole/core BA on projects, rather as part of a large practice
· Experience translating requirements and working with Business SMEs
· Ability to take ownership of decisions and shape business strategy
· Proven effective stakeholder management skills with internal and external stakeholders
· Proficiency in Jira, Confluence etc.
