Summary
6-month contract (inside IR35) Senior Business Analyst driving a business transformation and continuous improvement programme at a global engineering and technology organisation. Day to day: analysing end-to-end processes, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and defining target operating models, working hybrid from Kidlington (2-3 days onsite).
Senior Business Analyst | 6-Month Contract | Inside IR35
We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major business transformation and continuous improvement programme within a global engineering and technology-led organisation.
This is not a traditional requirements-gathering BA role. We're looking for someone who can challenge existing ways of working, assess process maturity, and design practical improvements across people, process, data and technology.
You'll work across a variety of business functions, helping to drive efficiency, standardisation and operational excellence through end-to-end process optimisation.
Role Overview
- Senior Business Analyst required for an initial 6-month contract.
- Part of the Technology & Business Change function, supporting a wider continuous improvement programme.
- Focused on improving end-to-end business processes across multiple business areas.
- Work streams may be process-led, people-led or technology-enabled, depending on business need.
- Operating as a standalone senior resource within the Transformation team.
- Opportunity to influence large-scale change within a complex engineering and product development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and improve end-to-end business processes across multiple functions.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand current ways of working and identify improvement opportunities.
- Define current-state and target-state processes and operating models.
- Challenge assumptions and existing practices to ensure recommendations are evidence-led.
- Assess process maturity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, governance and scalability.
- Translate business challenges into clear process, data and technology requirements.
- Work across functional boundaries to improve workflows, ownership and hand-offs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support business change activities.
- Operate independently, structuring ambiguous problems and delivering practical recommendations.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering business transformation, operating model or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong background in process analysis, process optimisation and business change.
- Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and influence senior decision-makers.
- Experience working autonomously with minimal direction.
- Strong workshop facilitation, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, product development, operations or complex technology environments.
- Comfortable moving between unfamiliar business domains and quickly understanding operational challenges.
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft 365 or similar enterprise platforms.
Contract Details
Contract Length: Initial 6 months
Rate: £650/day - £700/day
IR35: Inside IR35
Location: Kidlington, On-site 2-3 days per week
Start: ASAP
