Discussion

Overview

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping AI-enabled business transformation by working with Project Managers, business unit leaders, cross-functional delivery teams and senior stakeholders to define, document and deliver business and technical requirements across all phases of the project lifecycle.

You will lead the analysis of current-state business processes, identify opportunities for re-engineering and define optimised target-state processes that appropriately embed AI capabilities, human-in-the-loop decision points, operational controls and measurable success criteria.

The role requires practical experience in defining AI use cases within business processes, including understanding how large language models can be applied, where prompt engineering is required, and how AI limitations such as accuracy, bias, explainability and control requirements should be assessed and managed.

You will be experienced in producing high-quality Business Requirements and corresponding Functional Specifications, with strong traceability across functional and technical requirements, API and workflow integration points, data integrity, data lineage, testing outcomes and implementation readiness.

You will also bring an understanding of AI governance and risk management expectations, including risk and control assessments, CPS 230 operational resilience considerations, regulatory expectations and the governance evidence required to support responsible AI delivery and ongoing monitoring.

Working with the Portfolio Manager, you will support business case development and benefits realisation by quantifying AI-enabled productivity gains, service-level improvements and member experience outcomes, while continually improving the operation of your role across the Portfolio, Squads and functional area.
