Summary: The Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner is responsible for delivering actionable results in a savings bank environment by formulating user stories and business cases. This role aims to enhance business processes within the bank while ensuring compliance and stakeholder alignment.
Main Responsibilities:
Creating and prioritizing user stories in close cooperation with specialist departments.
Developing complete business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and decision templates.
Stakeholder management on both the specialist department and IT sides.
Coordination with Finanz Informatik on requirements and feasibility.
Ensuring that requirements are documented in a compliant manner (SOC2, ISO 27001).
Identifying AI potential within the assigned workstream.
Key Requirements:
3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a banking/finance/insurance environment.
Proven experience in creating business cases, not just user stories.
Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
Fluent German (C1+) is mandatory.
Nice to Have:
Basic understanding of AI use cases in banking.
Experience within Sparkasse environment.
Basic knowledge of SOC2 / ISO 27001 compliance.
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.
