About the role
We have two fixed-term Senior Business Analyst opportunities available:
- 1 x 12-month fixed-term position
- 1 x 6-month fixed-term position
Band VPS:
Both roles are based in our Melbourne CBD office and are dedicated to the Transformation Program.
We are looking for experienced Senior Business Analysts to join our Business Analysis Practice and work exclusively within a significant organisational Transformation Program.
This is an opportunity to work at the front end of transformation, helping understand what customers and the organisation need, identify where things can work better and shape the services, processes and technology that will support the future.
You’ll work across multiple transformation streams, engaging directly with customers, senior stakeholders and technical specialists to understand the current environment, uncover pain points and opportunities, and turn complex information into clear future-state outcomes.
You’ll be joining a program where the problems are complex, the stakeholders are diverse and the path forward isn’t always obvious. Your ability to bring structure to ambiguity, ask the right questions and connect customer, business and technology perspectives will be critical.
What you will be working on:
- Working directly with Customer Advisory Groups to understand customer experiences, needs and pain points and ensure the customer voice influences transformation.
- Leading discovery workshops, interviews and stakeholder sessions to bring together different perspectives and establish a shared understanding of the problem.
- Mapping end-to-end customer journeys and business processes to identify pain points, gaps, dependencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Defining current and future-state processes and translating insights into clear requirements, options and recommendations.
- Working closely with business and technical specialists to understand the impacts of systems, applications, data and integrations on future services.
- Identifying common themes and dependencies across transformation streams and helping shape solutions at a broader program level.
- Supporting initiatives as they move from discovery and definition into design, delivery and business readiness.
This is a hands-on Senior BA role where you will have the opportunity to influence how future services are designed and delivered, rather than simply documenting requirements.
Let’s talk about you!
You’re an experienced Senior Business Analyst who is comfortable operating in complex and evolving environments. You can engage confidently with customers and senior stakeholders, facilitate difficult conversations and turn ambiguity into something people can understand, agree on and act upon.
You are someone with:
- Strong senior-level business analysis experience across complex transformation, organisational change, service transformation or technology-enabled environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and facilitation skills.
- Strong experience in customer discovery, process analysis, journey mapping and requirements management.
- The technical literacy to confidently engage with conversations about systems, applications, data, integrations and technology dependencies.
- Experience working across large and complex organisations, ideally with significant customer or user populations.
- Experience contributing to or delivering large-scale, multi-million-dollar transformation programs.
- The ability to work across organisational boundaries and navigate complex stakeholder, governance and technology environments, including whole-of-government or similarly complex settings.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to connect information across multiple workstreams and identify patterns, dependencies and opportunities.
Experience across multiple industries or organisational contexts will be highly regarded.
If you don't match the experience above 100%, that’s ok! Please still put your application through. If this is not the role for you, please create a profile to join our talent community using https://www.humanforce.com/careers/cenitex/jobs
