Senior C++ Developer - Oxford
Summary
Builds and optimizes high-performance backend systems in modern C++ for a UK-based tech company.
Salary: £75,000 - 95,000 per year
Requirements:- Experience with modern C++ (C++17 or later)
- Experience with performance-critical or systems-level software
- Experience with multithreaded and concurrent programming
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
- Linux development experience
- Experience debugging and optimising complex software
- Advantageous experience in any of the following: database engines, compilers, distributed systems, high-performance backend platforms, scientific or numerical computing, graphics, simulation or game engines, low-latency or real-time systems
- Work on our core software platform and solve complex engineering problems
- Develop modern C++ software
- Design and implement high-performance algorithms and data structures
- Build concurrent and multithreaded software
- Manage memory and optimise performance
- Develop cross-platform software across Linux, Windows and macOS
- Design and maintain robust, scalable software at the heart of our globally deployed product
