About the company: Exceed Global is an Australian professional services and recruitment firm, and an appointed seller on the Australian Government's Digital Marketplace Panel 2. We place specialist ICT talent into federal agencies.

About the role: Our client, a federal government agency, needs a senior developer to design, build and support critical applications. You will set engineering standards, work with testing and release teams, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Duties

• Build and support apps in C# .NET, REST APIs, Oracle PL/SQL and VB6
• Run CI/CD pipelines, PowerShell automation and releases
• Lead code reviews and apply secure coding standards
• Resolve incidents and defects, and tune performance
• Write solution designs and technical documentation

Skills & experience

• Senior commercial C# .NET development
• Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• VB6, JavaScript and IBM Cloud Pak exposure
• CI/CD, test automation, Citrix and release management
• Australian citizen, able to obtain an NV1 clearance
