About the opportunity
The Senior Cloud Engineer plays a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure. This position is responsible for automating cloud operations, managing infrastructure as code, and collaborating closely with development, security, and operations teams to enable reliable cloud-native solutions.
What you’ll get to do

Design and implement cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure ensuring scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring all environments are consistent, version-controlled, and easily reproducible.
Manage code repositories and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub (Actions, Branching, Workflows) to streamline deployment and infrastructure automation.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based systems and applications, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security configurations.
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to define infrastructure requirements and deliver cloud solutions that support business goals.
Automate operational tasks and provisioning to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Participate in cloud architecture reviews, cost optimization initiatives, and performance tuning.
Document infrastructure designs, procedures, and standards to ensure clarity and consistency across teams.

Skills and experience we value

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field(or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience working in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or DevOpsroles.
Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)principles.
Proficiency with GitHub for source control, including experience with Git workflows and GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS or Azure), including architecture, provisioning, and operations.
Deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and configuration management tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and orchestration.
Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL)— including configuration, backup, performance tuning, and integration in cloud environments.
Strong working knowledge of Linux system administration, including shell scripting, package management, and performance troubleshooting.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
