Senior / Construction Manager - Corporate Office Interior Fit Out
Lead the delivery of high-quality corporate office interior fit-out projects with ID21.
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in commercial interior fit-out, particularly corporate office and workplace projects.
You will be responsible for managing the construction and site delivery of interior fit-out projects, working closely with our Project Managers, Interior Designers, Consultants, Clients, subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to a high standard.
This role is best suited to someone who understands the interior fit-out process from mobilisation through to handover and is comfortable coordinating multiple trades such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, carpentry/joinery, M&E, painting and other specialist works.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interior Fit-Out Project & Site Management
- Lead site construction activities from mobilisation through to final handover of corporate office interior fit-out projects.
- Plan and manage construction schedules and coordinate activities across multiple interior trades.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors and site teams to ensure works are completed according to programme and quality requirements.
- Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries and installation schedules.
- Review approved drawings and specifications and ensure works are executed accordingly.
- Identify site issues and coordinate solutions with the Project Manager, Design Team, Consultants and relevant contractors.
2. Project & Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with Project Managers, Interior Designers, Consultants, Clients, subcontractors and vendors throughout the project.
- Coordinate and resolve day-to-day site and technical issues.
- Conduct regular site and subcontractor meetings to monitor progress and address outstanding matters.
- Communicate construction requirements, programme updates and site instructions clearly to relevant parties.
3. Quality, Safety & Site Standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and construction quality.
- Ensure interior works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Monitor defects and coordinate rectification works through to closure.
- Ensure compliance with WSH requirements, building management regulations and ID21's site safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised project site.
4. Project Documentation & Handover
- Prepare site and progress reports, meeting minutes and other project documentation.
- Maintain proper records of inspections, defects, quality checks and rectification works.
- Coordinate testing, inspections and building management requirements.
- Coordinate O&M/OMM manuals, as-built drawings and other documentation required for project handover.
- Ensure projects are properly completed and handed over to the client.
What We Are Looking For
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in commercial interior fit-out, preferably involving corporate office or workplace projects.
- Strong hands-on experience managing interior fit-out site works and multiple interior trades.
- Good understanding of office renovation and fit-out processes, including coordination of architectural finishes, M&E, ceilings, partitions, flooring, carpentry/joinery and related works.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors and site teams.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing and project scheduling.
- Experience using Microsoft Project or other project scheduling tools.
- Able to read and interpret architectural/interior fit-out drawings.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Diploma or Degree in Building Construction, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.
Candidates with strong corporate office interior fit-out experience will be prioritised.
Please note: This position is specifically focused on commercial interior fit-out and corporate office projects. Candidates whose experience is primarily in civil/structural construction, infrastructure, residential or new-build construction may not be suitable for this role.
