Senior Consultant - Human Resources & Payroll
Description
Salary: Competitive Salary and Benefits
At TechnologyOne, we build enterprise software that helps organisations across Australia and New Zealand run some of their most critical business functions.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Consultant to join our Delivery team, specialising in Human Resources & Payroll (HRP).
This is a customer-facing implementation role where you'll work closely with organisations to understand their HR and payroll processes, translate business requirements into practical solutions, and guide customers through the journey from discovery and design through to implementation and go-live.
If you've built strong experience implementing HR, payroll or workforce management systems and enjoy being the person customers trust to solve complex problems, this could be a great opportunity to take that experience into TechnologyOne.
The role can be based in Australia or New Zealand. Due to the nature of the customers and environments this role may support, the successful candidate must be eligible and willing to obtain and maintain, an Australian Government Baseline security clearance. TechnologyOne is a DISP member and may sponsor eligible employees for the required clearance.
What you'll be doing…
As a Senior Business Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering TechnologyOne's HR & Payroll solution to our customers. You'll:
- Lead customer workshops to understand HR and payroll processes, requirements and desired business outcomes.
- Translate complex customer requirements into practical solution designs using TechnologyOne HRP.
- Conduct fit/gap analysis between customer requirements and product capabilities, recommending the best way to achieve the required outcomes.
- Guide customers through key implementation decisions and help them understand how technology can improve the way they work.
- Configure, demonstrate and deliver training on the HRP solution.
- Manage and prioritise requirements, including assessing the impact of changes throughout implementation.
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and work closely with internal project and product teams.
- Deliver agreed project outcomes on time and within scope.
- Share your expertise with other consultants, providing guidance and mentoring where needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our implementation methodologies, tools and ways of working.
Put simply, you'll be one of the key faces of TechnologyOne throughout the implementation journey, helping customers move from where they are today to successfully operating on their new HR and Payroll solution.
Your Talents…
We're looking for someone who combines strong HR and payroll domain knowledge with the consulting skills needed to lead customers through complex technology implementations.
You'll ideally bring:
- Strong experience implementing HR, payroll, HCM or workforce management software in a consulting, implementation or customer-facing capacity.
- A solid understanding of HR and payroll business processes and the challenges organisations face when implementing enterprise systems.
- Experience facilitating workshops, gathering requirements and translating business needs into system solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to guide customers through complex decisions.
- Experience conducting fit/gap analysis and recommending practical solutions based on product capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through ambiguity in complex implementation environments.
- A customer-first mindset and the ability to build credibility and trusted relationships.
- The ability to mentor and support less experienced consultants.
- Experience with TechnologyOne HR & Payroll would be highly regarded, but we're also interested in people who have built strong implementation experience with other enterprise HR and payroll platforms and are keen to learn the TechnologyOne solution.
