Senior Consultant - SAP-Oracle DBA

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant – SAP‑Oracle DBA to join our SAP Modernization – Delivery department. The role blends deep SAP UI5/Fiori expertise with robust SAP and Oracle database administration, ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and secure data management across our enterprise solutions.

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori applications using Freestyle UI5 and MVC architecture.
• Integrate UI5 applications with backend SAP and Oracle databases via OData services.
• Administer SAP and Oracle databases, handling backups, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Implement database designs that support scalability, high availability, and future growth.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with privacy regulations in both environments.
• Collaborate with the SAP Modernization team to align database strategies with project goals.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on database‑related issues.
• Perform regular health checks, capacity planning, and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Stay current with SAP BTP services, BAS, Fiori Launchpad, and emerging database technologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and Agile delivery practices.

• 4+ years of SAP UI5/Fiori development experience, focusing on Freestyle UI5 and MVC.
• Proficiency with SAP Business Application Studio, Fiori Launchpad, and HTML5 Repository deployment.
• Hands‑on experience administering SAP and Oracle databases, including performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of database design principles, security, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Experience with SAP BTP services and their integration into UI5 applications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SAP project delivery frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities for complex technical issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Self‑motivated, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
