Senior Consultant - SAP-SAP ABAP
As a Senior Consultant in our S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department, you will play a crucial role in driving SAP backend integration projects. Your expertise in ABAP, SAP Gateway, OData services, and Fiori integrations will be leveraged to lead and mentor teams, ensuring the successful development and implementation of technical solutions. - Design and develop SAP backend integration solutions using ABAP and SAP Gateway technologies.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Create and maintain OData services to enable seamless data exchange between SAP and other systems.
- Integrate SAP systems with Fiori applications, ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met throughout the development process.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and promote their adoption within the team.
- Document and communicate technical designs, architectures, and implementation strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP ABAP Gateway and OData services.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP Gateway and OData services.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in mentoring and guiding development teams.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including object-oriented programming concepts.
- Expertise in SAP Gateway technology and OData service development.
- Familiarity with Fiori applications and their integration with SAP systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP or SAP Gateway technologies are an advantage.
