Senior Control Software Engineer — Turbine & Plant Automation

Quest Global is looking for a Senior Control Software Engineer in Florence. The role involves designing and commissioning control loops, upgrading software, and writing controls logic for power generation projects. Ideal candidates should have strong knowledge in TOOLBOX ST, excellent communication skills, and experience working with complex control systems. The position requires handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and engaging with global stakeholders. Designing, implementing, and commissioning control loops per site requirements. Reviewing control philosophy, P&IDs, and other project documentation. Providing start-up and remote commissioning support. Good knowledge of TOOLBOX ST and CIMPLICITY for Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Plant Controls. Proven experience in writing controls logic using various programming techniques. Experience with MKVIe and ToolboxST.
