Senior Cost Control Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project budgets cost breakdown structures and cost control systems.

• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.

• Prepare cost forecasts cash flow projections and cost variance analysis.

• Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective actions

• Prepare and submit monthly cost reports progress reports and financial summaries.

• Track committed costs actual costs and projected final costs.

• Support management with accurate financial data for decision-making

• Review contracts subcontracts and BOQs for cost compliance.

• Manage variations change orders and claims in coordination with project teams.

• Assist in final accounts preparation and project close-out.

• Coordinate with project managers planning engineers procurement and site teams.
• Support procurement by reviewing vendor/subcontractor cost proposals.

• Monitor subcontractor payments and interim valuations.

• Participate in project meetings and cost review sessions.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management.
• Minimum 812 years of experience in cost control for building/Infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs quantity take-offs and final accounts.
• Excellent understanding of construction cost structures.
• Contractual and commercial awareness.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
