Compas is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join a Federal Government Department for a long-term engagement. This role will heavily focus on analysing business needs, documenting functional and technical requirements, mapping data and system interactions, and supporting the delivery of enhanced data, analytics, and integration capabilities.

- Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain one quickly
- ACT only
- Analysing business processes, systems, data flows and operational requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation;
- Eliciting, documenting and validating business, functional and non-functional requirements through engagement with business and technical stakeholders;
- Developing business process maps, workflow diagrams, use cases, user stories and other analysis artefacts to support project delivery;
- Analysing data from multiple sources to identify trends, issues, risks and opportunities that support informed decision-making;
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL
- Demonstrated experience analysing business processes, data flows, system integrations
