Senior Data Analyst
Summary
Senior Data Analyst who owns analytics and reporting across Niowave (a medical isotope developer for cancer treatment): building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, semantic models/DAX, and SQL workflows, plus automation with Power Apps/Power Automate using data from MasterControl and SharePoint. On-site in Lansing, MI.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets for cross-functional teams
- Build semantic models, DAX measures, dataflows, and reusable data structures
- Translate operational and quality requirements into reliable and audit-ready analytics outputs
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from internal systems
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and consistency checks
- Build analytics and dashboards using data from MasterControl, SharePoint, and other internal platforms

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and dataflows
- Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data
- Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
- Experience building reports using data from SharePoint, MasterControl, or similar platforms
- Experience with Azure SQL and/or Azure analytics tools at the user level
- Ability to document analyses, models, and workflows clearly
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field Experience supporting analytics in regulated, manufacturing, or laboratory environments
- Experience preparing data requirements for ERP implementations
- Familiarity with MasterControl reporting structures
- Experience with Python for analysis or automation
- Full-time position
- Niowave’s standard operating hours are Monday – Friday 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with production related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts
- This position will have regular working hours during Monday - Friday with an expectation of adjusting to working outside of the standard operating hours as needed
- Niowave has multiple locations within the Lansing area and travel between locations is expected in the role
