Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Center Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise data center networks. The candidate will work closely with Enterprise Computing, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• 5-7+ years of experience in enterprise/data center network engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 data center switching
• Strong expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 networking and routing
• BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP, TCP/IP
• VXLAN and Leaf-Spine architecture
• VPC, STP, 802.1Q, Multilayer Switching
• Strong experience with Cisco NX-OS
• Experience with Cisco IOS / IOS-XE / IOS-XR
• Strong understanding of network security concepts and multi-tier security architectures
• Ability to design network topologies, create HLD/LLD, Visio diagrams, BoMs, configuration templates, and migration plans
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Infoblox, Wireshark, Splunk, SevOne
• SDN / SD-WAN / DMVPN
• Public Cloud networking
• CCIE or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise-scale data center networks
• Develop network architectures, topologies, BoMs, HLD/LLDs, and implementation/migration plans
• Collaborate with Computing, Security, Application, and Project teams on end-to-end solutions
• Maintain network diagrams, standards, and configuration templates
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex network issues and outages
• Mentor team members and provide knowledge transfer
• Support planned weekend/after-hours network changes when required
