Senior Data Engineer/Analyst

LCC Group of Companies is seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Data Engineer/Analyst to spearhead data-driven insights that inform critical strategic business decisions. In this role, you will analyze complex data sets, develop and deploy advanced statistical and machine learning models, and bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify key business problems, design experiments, and clearly present high-impact findings to stakeholders.
This role involves driving projects within Business Intelligence (BI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA / AI), overseeing secondary developers, and managing critical server deployments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirement Review & Project Leadership: Analyze and sign off on Business Requirement Documentation (BRD) for both BI and RPA, identifying automation potential via Proof of Concepts and delegating projects to developers.
Data Engineering & Architecture: Coordinate database connections and descriptions, build QVDs from raw/transformed sources, and map table relationships while ensuring data cleaning and validation.
BI Dashboard Development & Deployment: Design, script, and build Qlik dashboards aligned with business needs; publish them to Production Streams, and present them to stakeholders to support decision-making.
RPA Development & Monitoring: Build and test automation bots, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with process owners, deploy them to production with run schedules, and perform daily transaction monitoring.
System Maintenance & Administration: Oversee both BI and RPA servers, which includes managing streams, user access, licenses, server performance, application versions, and bot trend analysis.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related quantitative field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data science, BI, or automation, with at least 1 to 2 years of demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams or coordinating development workflows.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages with a solid grasp of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
Deep expertise in data cleaning, validation, and preprocessing techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to convey highly technical findings to non-technical stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail, planning, organization, and a positive attitude.
A track record of managing interdependencies and building strong, collaborative interdepartmental relationships.
