Job Description
- Develop and optimize data pipelines using dbt, Snowflake, and SQL to support analytics needs.
- Design and maintain data models, including star schemas and dimensional models, following the Kimball methodology.
- Implement and manage data transformation processes and ELT workflows.
- Ensure data quality and governance through strong validation and monitoring practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain data marts for business reporting.
- Perform performance tuning for data warehouse and analytics solutions.
- Utilize Git, GitFlow, and GitHub for version control and CI/CD processes.
- Support cloud-based data infrastructure and ensure its scalability and reliability.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Analytics Engineer should have:
- Proficiency in dbt, Snowflake, and SQL for analytics engineering and data transformation.
- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques, including star schema and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with the Kimball methodology and ELT workflows.
- Experience with Git, GitFlow, and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and performance tuning practices.
- Ability to work with cloud-based data environments.
