- Lead the design, development, and scaling of the data warehouse and analytics platform.
- Manage architecture and implementation of isolation model, warehouse pipelines, and provisioning infrastructure.
- Ensure customers have ad-hoc query access to their own data within a shared warehouse.
- Partner with internal teams to build models and dashboards.
- Automate and enforce data quality, scalability, and compliance.
Experience
- 6+ years of engineering experience spanning data and infrastructure.
- Proficient in SQL and relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
- Experience with database-level access control implementations, such as row-level or column-level security and RBAC.
- Production data pipeline management experience, including CDC failure diagnosis, schema drift, and troubleshooting bad upstream values.
- Fluency in Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Experience collaborating with non-engineering teams on reporting models.
- Automating skills in scripting languages, with Ruby and SQL preferred.
- Construction of reusable, automated tools for business scalability.
- Prioritization of data quality, observability, and compliance in systems.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with HIPAA-regulated data preferred.
- Familiarity with dbt, Metabase, Kafka/Debezium, or AWS data infrastructure is a plus.
Salary and Perks
Pay range: $185K - $215K
