Senior Data Engineer placed by IT Alliance with a Federal Government client, working onsite in one of Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne or Adelaide. The role centres on data modelling, analysis/profiling, visualisation and data-quality work on platforms such as Teradata or Cloudera Data Platform, ideally with Red Hat OpenShift.
One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Senior Data Engineer in Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide.
We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:
- Data modelling techniques (relational, dimensional, messaging and big data), data analysis and profiling using modern analytical tools and programming languages, and visualisation methods and tools.
- Experience with one or more of the following - Teradata, Cloudera Data Platform.
- Experience in implementing solutions on Red Hat Open shift platforms is highly desirable.
- Best-practice data cleansing, validation, quality assurance and feature preparation techniques for complex datasets.
