Requirements:- Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer in enterprise data environments.

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills at all levels of an organisation.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure data platforms, including Azure Synapse or an equivalent data platform.
- Experience with Azure SQL Server.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Practical delivery experience using medallion architectures (Bronze / Silver / Gold).
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with DBT.
- Strengthen, evolve, and modernise our core data platforms.
- Take joint ownership of existing data pipelines and analytics platforms, ensuring they are stable, performant, and trusted by downstream consumers.
- Support and enhance ingestion and integration pipelines sourcing data from MS Dynamics CRM, MS Dynamics Finance & Operations, SAP SuccessFactors, and a range of bespoke and third-party systems.
- Develop and maintain the Azure Synapse-based ingestion and staging layer, including Synapse Link integrations and Synapse data pipelines for orchestration and movement.
- Support the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) built on Azure SQL Server.
- Deliver transformations using stored procedures, views, and DBT.
- Maintain a clear separation of bronze, silver, and gold layers aligned to a medallion architecture.
- Collaborate with BI and Analytics teams to ensure Gold layer data models support Power BI semantic models, executive dashboards, and operational reporting.
- Help ensure our data is reliable, scalable, secure, and ready to power advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and executive decision making.
