Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Reporting to a Technical Lead, this role plays a key part in supporting data ingestion initiatives and collaborating with business and technical product owners. The position involves designing and developing near real-time data processing solutions, enhancing consumer interactions, producing business documentation, and contributing to reporting activities. The role spans a broad range of responsibilities aimed at building and improving scalable, reliable, and traceable data products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuous Improvement:
  
  Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, ideate, and deliver enhancements to data assets and the services provided to consumers.
  

• Design & Development:
  
  Participate in design and development sessions for data asset creation and ingestion pipelines, focusing on stability, optimization, security, and traceability.
  

• Pipeline Development:
  
  Build, test, and maintain robust data pipelines, processes, and related components to ensure high availability and resilience.
  

• Coding & Testing:
  
  Develop modular, fault-tolerant, and maintainable code aligned with modern engineering best practices.
  

• Innovation & Research:
  
  Explore new tools, methods, and processes to drive improvements and support the development of high-quality data products and services.
  

• Cross-Team Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with teams across ingestion, consumption, and activation workflows to ensure smooth transitions and integrated delivery.
