Senior Data Migration Software Engineer
Salary: $120k-$140k+Medical+FreePark+Hybrid
An exciting SaaS company is looking for a Senior Data Migration Software Engineer to join a growing Christchurch software company.
Love SQL, data migration, ETL and solving complex data problems?
You'll add real value by helping customers deliver successful data migrations when they choose to come onto the companies SaaS product :-)
What you'll bring:
BSc Computer Science, BEng Software Engineering or similar or not
At least 6 years' experience delivering data migration, ETL or data integration projects
Strong SQL and relational database skills, including querying, profiling and reverse-engineering database schemas
Solid programming or scripting experience using SQL together with good C#.Net, Python or a similar language
Confident using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with developers, consultants and customers
You've worked with Microsoft SQL Server, .NET/C#, APIs with data migration into ERP or CRM systems
Experience working in a SaaS or product software environment
