Senior Data & Reporting Analyst

We're looking for an experienced Senior Data & Reporting Analyst to join a Wellington-based, collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights and delivering reporting solutions that support informed business decision-making.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining reporting capability, supporting data warehouse initiatives, improving data processes, and helping drive a data-informed culture.
Key Skills and Experience
- Strong SQL skills and experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Proven experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and workflow automation
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and communicate complex information in a clear and practical way
- At least five years' experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or a related field
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to other data visualisation and reporting tools
- Experience with advanced analytics, predictive modelling, or machine learning
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R
Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience delivering reporting, analytics, or data management solutions in a commercial or public sector environment
