Senior Data Scientist - 3686745 (USA)

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Data Scientist position! This is a 6+ month contract and will be remote in the United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and build data pipelines to migrate data from legacy systems to new platform solutions
• Develop Python-based calculations and scoring algorithms to support data transformation initiatives
• Write and optimize SQL stored procedures to support data storage and retrieval requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map and translate data structures from old to new systems
• Lead UAT testing efforts to validate solution accuracy and functionality
• Automate data migration processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Create Tableau and Power BI dashboards to visualize and communicate analytical results
• Work independently to deliver technical solutions while maintaining stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle

What You'll Need to Have:

• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, calculations, and automation
• Solid experience with SQL, including writing stored procedures and complex queries
• Experience with Tableau and/or Alteryx for data visualization and workflow automation (preferred)
• Background in highly regulated industries with established technology environments
• Proven ability to design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes
• Demonstrated experience conducting UAT testing and ensuring data quality
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Pay Range: $60-65/hr
