The Senior Data Scientist will lead high‑impact, end‑to‑end data science and machine learning initiatives, with a strong focus on IoT, smart city, and infrastructure analytics. Detailed Job Description

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will design and deploy complex ML pipelines, develop predictive and prescriptive models, and work with massive IoT datasets feeding from smart city platforms. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and domain experts to translate business needs into measurable analytical outcomes. The role requires deep expertise in Python, ML/DL frameworks, and advanced statistical methodologies. You will also guide exploratory analysis, model optimization, and scalability efforts for real‑world IoT applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of ML/AI solutions for IoT and smart city use cases.
• Analyze large‑scale sensor, telemetry, and infrastructure datasets.
• Design ML/DL models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, and other frameworks.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model tuning.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to align analytical solutions with business outcomes.
• Develop prototypes and production‑grade models, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Communicate analytical findings to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to thought leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 12+ years of professional experience in Data Science & Machine Learning.
• Strong background in IoT analytics, smart city platforms, or infrastructure data ecosystems.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related quantitative fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and major DS/ML libraries: scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, pandas, NumPy.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful, data‑driven business solutions.
• Strong statistical modeling and deep learning experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience building scalable ML solutions in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of streaming analytics frameworks (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.).
• Exposure to MLOps, CI/CD for ML, and model monitoring.
