Role Summary :

Welspun Transformation Private Limited is in search of a highly skilled and results-oriented Senior Data Scientist to join our IT - AI Minds department. The successful candidate will possess a strong command of Python, Machine Learning, and Statistical Modeling, with a proven track record in Smart Factory technologies. This role demands expertise in predictive maintenance, time-series forecasting, and industrial analytics to enhance manufacturing efficiency. The candidate will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making across Industry 4.0 initiatives. With 5 to 8 years of experience, the ideal candidate will leverage their technical acumen to optimize processes and contribute to strategic planning. A deep understanding of planning and forecasting, coupled with business and commercial acumen, is essential. The role requires a global mindset and the ability to excel in people management, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop test and deploy machine learning models using Python to address complex business challenges in manufacturing and industrial settings. Utilize statistical modeling techniques to analyze data and provide actionable insights for process optimizationbr Implement predictive maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Conduct timeseries forecasting to anticipate future trends and inform strategic decisionmaking. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive industrial analytics initiatives and support Industry 4.0 projects by applying planning and forecasting skills to improve operational efficiency and support business objectivesbr Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen to align data science projects with organizational goals.
