Senior Data & Systems Analyst - Retail Org

Stelfox are partnering with a Irish Luxury Retail Brand in the heart of Dublin City who are making a deliberate strategic move into the technology-enabled future of luxury retail.
We are looking to hire a Systems & Data Lead who has experience operating in a fast-moving SME environment where decisions are made quickly and impact is felt in real time.
We specifically are looking for someone who can thrive in a scale-up environment, evaluate technology landscape and who is AI-native, involved in System integration from a Data perspective (building dashboards and deploying automations) that gives the business a real edge.
Note - this is a standalone role, so someone that is hands-on and not afraid to get into the weeds of Data/AI, automation and building Data dashboards etc, will be required.
This role will report into the Director of Operations and works with stakeholders across the business (Sales, Finance, Retail Operations etc) to understands how a centralised view of data, utilising AI tools can impact their operational environment.
Overview of the role:
- Build and own the end-to-end technology roadmap: from integrating our POS, ERP, and CRM into a single commercial picture, to deploying AI tools that improve how we sell, serve, and operate.
- Give the senior leadership team real-time data and dashboards they can trust, replacing manual spreadsheet consolidation with reliable, automated insight.
- Accelerate AI and automation capability; identifying and implementing tools that reduce friction, improve decision-making, and create genuine competitive advantage in a sector that is moving fast.
Systems Integration
- Conduct a thorough audit of the current technology estate: POS, ERP, CRM (HubSpot), Finance and all standalone tools in use across stores and back office.
- Design and implement integrations that create seamless, accurate data flows across all functions, eliminating siloed systems and manual data transfers.
- Own all technology vendor relationships: tenders, contracts, SLAs, performance, and roadmap alignment.
- Ensure systems are configured to capture the data the business actually needs.
Data, Reporting & Commercial Insight
- Build and maintain real-time dashboards that give each function (sales, finance, marketing, stock, operations) the commercial visibility they need to perform.
- Create a single, trusted weekly trading view that consolidates store, e-commerce, and product performance data for the SLT.
- Own the data architecture within all systems: structure, segmentation, data quality, and governance.
- Train and upskill managers to use data tools independently, building data literacy as a core business capability.
AI & Automation
- Research, evaluate, and implement AI tools relevant to commercial priorities. For example, demand and inventory forecasting, clienteling automation, content and campaign generation, scheduling optimisation, and customer segmentation.
- Stay close to the luxury retail technology landscape and bring structured innovation proposals to the SLT on a regular cadence.
- Act as the internal champion for adoption of AI.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all systems, data practices, and AI tools comply with GDPR and Irish data protection legislation.
- Establish clear data governance standards: ownership, access controls, retention policies, and quality controls.
- Maintain a secure, well-documented technology environment that supports operational continuity and audit readiness.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Minimum 6 years' experience in a Data-driven technology, systems, or digital operations role within a fast-moving SME, scale-up, or high-growth business.
- Demonstrable experience integrating commercial systems (CRM, ERP, POS, or equivalent) in a B2C or retail environment.
- Strong proficiency with data architecture, workflow automation, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and data visualisations in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Comfortable to navigate your way around SQL, Python for Data wrangling or manipulation is a bonus
- Practical, proven experience deploying AI tools in a commercial context.
- Comfortable working without a large IT support structure.
- Strong communicator who is able to translate technical complexity into plain language for non-technical stakeholders.
- GDPR-literate, with a working understanding of Irish data protection obligations.
- A natural self-starter who investigates, experiments, and moves fast.
- Experience in luxury, premium retail, or e-commerce is a bonus, not a requirement.
This role will be located in Dublin 2 and require this person to be onsite to work with the senior leadership team.
