join a 12-person data team delivering a key data warehouse modernisation programme. Your focus will be designing, developing and improving cloud data warehouse solutions, including dimensional models and hand-coded data pipelines.What you’ll be doing
- Developing data warehouse solutions using Databricks, Python, PySpark and Azure Data Factory.
- Building dimensional models and optimising SQL, pipelines and warehouse workloads.
- Supporting the existing on-premises SQL Server environment.
- Providing technical guidance, leading peer reviews and coaching colleagues.
- Strong data warehouse engineering and development experience.
- Databricks or Snowflake expertise, with Databricks preferred.
- Strong Python/PySpark skills, including working with libraries and classes.
- SQL, dimensional modelling and data pipeline experience.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and confidence mentoring others.
