Job Title: Database Administrator (L2)

Location: Hinjewadi Phase-1, Pune

Shift: 24*7 Rotational

Work Mode: work from the office

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator (L2) with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in supporting and managing databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle. The role involves database administration, performance optimization, backup and recovery management, and ensuring high availability across various environments like development, QA, UAT, and production.

End-to-End Database Administration

Monitoring & Alerting

Backup & Recovery

High Availability (HA) & Failover Support.

Collaboration and Team Support

Ongoing Maintenance & Support

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6 to 7 years of experience in database administration with a focus on MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle databases.

• Hands-on experience with database backups, performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of high availability (HA) setups for databases and systems. Good understanding of security best practices for database environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills: •

Experience with database management tools (e.g., Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM)).

• Experience with MongoDB Ops Manager and database replication strategies.

• Certifications in database management or related technologies are a plus.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology
