Summary
Senior Database Administrator maintains and optimizes enterprise Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL systems, automates deployments, and migrates databases to cloud for banking, government, and healthcare clients.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator with 17+ years of expertise in managing and optimizing enterprise database environments across banking, government, healthcare, and large-scale enterprises. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, along with expertise in database modernization, automation, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and optimize Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Design and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, SQL Always On, and Failover Clustering.
- Lead database migrations, upgrades, and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement proactive monitoring, performance tuning, security controls, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior DBAs to drive operational excellence.
