Senior Database Operations & Production Support Engineer

• Hands-on experience supporting production databases and data-driven applications in a structured enterprise environment.
• Practical SQL and T-SQL skills for investigation, validation, data correction, cleanup, and operational reporting.
• Experience with SQL Server; exposure to Azure SQL is strongly preferred.
• Experience monitoring or troubleshooting ETL jobs, batch processes, scheduled reports, and file-based integrations.
• Working knowledge of incident, request, problem, and change-management practices.
• Ability to analyze production issues, assess risk, follow controls, document evidence, and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, handover, and knowledge-transfer discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting mortgage, financial-services, servicing, treasury, compliance, or regulated reporting processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow or a comparable enterprise ticketing and change-management platform.
• Familiarity with SFTP, network file paths, job scheduling, ETL interfaces, and cross-platform data integrations.
• Experience with production support coverage models, operational runbooks, and recurring month-end or quarter-end processing.
