Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Graphic Designer with impeccable branding and design skills, a collaborative spirit, and a deep passion for creative problem-solving. You thrive in fast-paced environments, deliver exceptional design solutions, and know how to balance aesthetics with strategic goals. You have experience leading projects both independently and in team settings, ensuring excellence in every execution. Ability to collaborate with motion designers, or ability to create motion graphics a major plus.
At Compass You Will:
- First and foremost, be responsible for creating exceptional creative work for our agents and their properties. Strong systematic branding approaches that push for creative, elevated solutions.
- In collaboration with our Producers, Design Directors, and Marketing teams, you will meet with clients and internal stakeholders to present design solutions with clarity and confidence.
- Lead design storyboarding development of motion/animation projects from concept to completion for brand campaigns and agent advertising.
- Develop compelling brand identities for agents, including logo design and scalable brand systems.
- Design print and digital collateral, including books, print ads, billboards, websites, and digital ads.
- Generate innovative ideas for custom social media, print, and brand campaigns.
- Quickly interpret creative briefs from Creative Producers and Marketing Advisors to deliver high-quality work that meets strategic goals.
- Oversee the quality of design through all project phases.
- Drive conceptual and visual development for various projects, both independently and collaboratively.
- Work closely with other Designers, Design Directors, and Creative Producers to push creative boundaries.
- Take ownership in developing design toolkits to expedite and scale work across design team
- Mentor and provide feedback to Designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
- Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines through detailed reviews and approvals.
- Collaborate with Design Directors, Associate Design Directors, and Marketing Managers to create compelling narratives through copy and design.
- Conduct research, develop mood boards, storyboards and facilitate creative brainstorming sessions.
- Provide constructive design feedback and take responsibility for the final creative output.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong branding focused designer with a portfolio showcasing excellence in typography, composition, photography, and layouts.
- Experience in scalable design systems and brand identity development.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and InDesign.
- Bonus: Strong skills in storyboarding and working with motion designers to produce outstanding brand campaigns
- Bonus: Proficiency in After Effects and Adobe Premiere
- Ability to lead presentations and clearly communicate creative solutions to internal stakeholders and agents.
- Candidates should express a keen interest in the integration and exploration of Generative AI technologies, to push the boundaries of traditional and digital design methodologies.
- Experience receiving and giving constructive feedback, both internally and externally.
- Deep understanding of the creative process, with a continuous drive to improve and streamline workflows.
- Comfortable participating in and even leading creative critiques.
- Ability to move quickly and explore multiple ideas, while staying focused on deadlines.
- Passion for mentoring and collaborating with other designers.
- Motion experience is a major plus.
- 4-5+ years of experience creating outstanding design work (award-winning work is a plus).
Compensation & Perks
- Salary Range: Base pay of $90,000 - $103,000 annually (varies based on experience and skills). Bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs) may be provided as part of the total package.
