Senior Designer-Exhibition Stand

The Senior Exhibition Designer is responsible for developing innovative exhibition and event design concepts that meet client briefs, align with company standards, and are feasible for production. The role involves leading the design execution from concept through to final delivery, ensuring creativity, functionality, technical accuracy, and budget compliance.

The designer will collaborate closely with Sales, Estimators, Design Piers, Production, and Technical teams to deliver high-quality exhibition stand and experiential designs.

Requirements

Design & Concept Development

  • Develop exhibition stand concepts, layouts, and visitor journey planning.
  • Create mood boards, storyboards, and design rationale aligned with client briefs.
  • Ensure designs are innovative, relevant, and aligned with current industry trends.

Design Execution

  • Produce high-quality 3D renders and visual presentations.
  • Prepare detailed material, furniture, lighting, and finish specifications.
  • Develop final presentation boards and client submission documents.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Estimators, Strategists, Graphic Designers, and Technical teams.
  • Take structured feedback from Design Piers and incorporate design direction.
  • Ensure alignment between creative vision, technical feasibility, and budget.

Technical & Production Support

  • Review technical drawings prior to production.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate implementation of design intent.
  • Support sample board preparation and onsite installation quality control.

Project Management

  • Manage assigned projects independently from concept to completion.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and workflow processes.
  • Maintain adherence to company traffic and project management systems.

Innovation & Development

  • Introduce new design techniques, materials, technologies, and activation ideas.
  • Stay updated with exhibition and experiential design trends.
  • Enhance the overall design quality and offering of the studio.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture / Exhibition Design
  • 5–8 years experience in exhibition, event, retail, or commercial design
  • Strong 3D design and visualization skills
  • Good knowledge of materials, lighting, and fabrication
  • Experience in exhibition stand design and space planning
  • Ability to prepare presentations and design concepts
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp / 3ds Max, Adobe Suite
  • Ability to manage time and work under tight deadlines
