Senior Developer Experience Engineer
You will improve the internal developer platform and daily engineering workflows. You will design, build, and evolve tools, automation, CI/CD systems, and self-service capabilities that help engineers build, test, deploy, and operate software reliably at scale. You will implement platform improvements, influence system design and standards, and support scalable, reliable, cost-effective software architecture.
Responsibilities
- Develop tools and frameworks to automate operational tasks and service and application deployments in Azure and on end-user machines
- Build and evolve AI tooling for daily development workflows
- Continue development of the internally developed Go-based CLI
- Develop tools in test and production environments to accelerate development teams
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Support product development teams in improving software architecture for scalability, reliability, cost, and performance
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience running a large application in cloud environments
- Experience building and deploying applications into containerized environments
- High coding proficiency in Ruby, Go, or Python
- Experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD platforms
- Experience building developer-productivity tooling
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to design and optimize workflows bridging traditional development practices and AI-assisted engineering
